The location to the beach is good, tucked away in a side alley it is quiet. My room was a good size and the bathroom/wet room was good. I had a sea view which was nice. The air con worked well. I had a balcony and I could see Soi Bintabaht, from which there was a little noise at night.
The staff were very good, the cleaners and front desk girls were excellent.
Breakfast was good although I think overpriced.
The pool was good, on the fifth floor, a nice place to chill out.

I rented a room to leave my luggage for the duration of the tour. The room was simple, aged, but clean, with a balcony. I liked the price-quality ratio, and on the next trip I took a room already for living. There are dishes, ask the reception to give a kettle to the room.

One can get a little nostalgic when talking about the development of Hua Hin. The first beachside resort town in Thailand was originally a small fishing village. It manages to maintain a laid-back atmosphere despite chain hotels invading the best vantage points along Hua Hin Beach.
The current King of Thailand, Bhumibol Adulyadej, spends much of his time here in the royal residence of Klai Kangwon Palace, built in 1927. The local Thai population have followed ever since as they escape the stifling heat of Bangkok.
Hin Lek Fai Hill provides the finest outlook of the bay and its 5 km-long stretch of beach. The central Hua Hin Night Market satisfies your wallet and your stomach with its mix of local souvenirs and freshly cooked seafood.
These days there is a distinctive cosmopolitan flair to the city with many restaurants and hotels purveying a European influence. It is also less hectic than Pattaya, the rival beach resort on the other side of the Bay of Thailand.
Hua Hin Airport has flights from Bangkok, and the wooden Thai-style train station is regarded as the prettiest in Thailand. The city has many hotels and resorts for families and couples and Booking.com can also accommodate you at the famous Centara Grand Beach Resort and Villas.
The place was nothing like what we booked. We reserved a pool view unit with a living area and separate bedroom. Instead we were given a room facing outside to a construction site and the very noisy night market with a band that played loud music into the night. Towels were the cheapest possible nylon and quite dreadful, so very difficult to dry. The washing machine was filthy and unusable. And although we didn't need it, the sofa-bed there was actually just a mini chaise-lounge.
We were glad to get out of there, to be honest. I suspect they swapped the room from what we booked to a worse one. Kate - the manager - was basically non-contactable once we asked about the room.

The biggest issue in Hua Hin is that the main road where many hotels are located near the beach is about the busiest in the area. If you are driving it is necessary to go a distance before you can make a U turn. You should only cross this road at the designated pedestrian crossing, otherwise it can be dangerous.
My critique of cities in Thailand - the sidewalks are not level in many places. You really have to pick up your feet and watch where you are walking because at any moment the grading can change and you will trip; Hua Hin is no exception.
Also, at times Hua Hin can have polluted air blowing your way. However, you will not be inundated with sewage smells like many other Thai cities.
Overall though, this city is safe, the weather is manageable and it is relatively easy to navigate your way around.

There is not much cultural activities, at least that I know of apart from the very nice Ciccada Market (art, handicraft, food and music). So renting a bike or using Grab is necessary if you want to explore a bit more than central Hua Hin. So include it in your budget. The malls are 2 and 4 km away. It's a bit difficult to find good restaurants with a reasonable price, there are many cheap but so-so restaurants. The restaurants in the night market nearby clearly target the tourists : 400 bht one plate when in other ones you pay 100 bht....

I know HuaHin for almost at 20 years and it hasn’t changed staying still quite and nice comparing to other cities. The center of the city is optically not welcoming and forms a typical Thai style agglomeration townhouses systems with unfortunately growing traffic congestions.

Hua Hin is much more relaxed than Pattaya and Bangkok.
Hua Hin is much more relaxed than Pattaya and Bangkok. There are lots of bars and restaurants and the local beaches are beautiful. It's also easy to travel in land where there are amazing waterfalls and rivers with lots of activities to do.
Hua Hin Euro city Hotel located at HuaHin City center, which near to Railway Station. The night bars like Soi-80 is 400 meters and Binhaibaht 500 meters, beach 400 meters and also food night market 300 meters.
It’s really comfortable place for stay. I highly recommended to solo travelers as well as families too. Prices are appropriate and if you want green tea then hot water also available there for free. The staff are good and can speak English well. You need to pay cash because there is no credit card payment available.
Peaceful and old traditional Thai style hotel with long beautiful stretch of the famous Hua Hin beach. Rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was amazing, catering for all nationalities and beach and poolside food was good. Location is great - out of town but only 150bht fixed price for Tuk Tuk or taxi into town for Hua Hin night markets and plentiful restaurants. The hotel also runs a shuttle bus at regular times. The staff were amazing - Pui and her team were devoted to our comfort. Thank you Pui 🙏
A beautiful hotel in the middle of Hua Hin. Lovely room with a huge comfortable bed 🛌. The place is spotless and the staff clean the room every day. Staff were so nice and helpful and they will do your laundry and return it smelling lovely.(it's the small things that matters most). Just a few minutes away from the main drag and the beach ⛱️. The Village Market is just a few minutes walk away and has lots of shops and restaurants. Overall a great place to stay for a good price 👌. Highly recommended
In my tour of Thailand and Cambodia I've stayed in 7 hotels and this one is the only hotel im going to review.
Spotlessly clean. Good sized rooms, amazing and helpful staff and close to a fantastic beach. It is quiet and peaceful, best nights sleep I've ever had in a hotel.
Both Blueport and Market Village with walking distance. Market Village is a bit further away but the food court has more option.
Other attractions have easy and cheap transport options.
Great location right next to Hua Hin Night Market in town centre, and in walking distance from Hua Hin Beach and Hua Hin Railway Station.
Room was spacious and clean, daily room service. Wifi for video calls was fine in the room, had better wifi on the balcony may change on what room you have. We had a lovely city view from second floor. We also used the car park space which was good and safe location under the hotel building.
The location is perfect in the centre of Huahin and close to beach and Market Village the main shopping centre in Hua Hin.It is an older hotel but this means it is spacious and has the benefit of very large spacious rooms and a 23.5 M pool for the keen swimmer like myself.
Breakfast is plentiful with European and Thai options and competitively priced but could offer more in terms of fresh fruit selection .
This is our third stay at the Veranda Lodge, we love that it is on the beach, but also has a lovely pool area. It’s like a family hotel, with birds, cats and a dog. The staff are lovely. The breakfast is absolutely delicious. It is a short walk to Market Village which is a great shopping complex with a food hall and lots of restaurants. Great shopping too.
We wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Hua Hin.
Travelling with another family we were given adjacent Family rooms with a connecting door on the balcony wall so the kids could go back and forth without opening the main doors. Rooms are in the old wing with a view to the sea. Great.
The old hotel is spacious with lovely gardens and a serene atmosphere.
Also the best beach in Hua Hin with soft sand and also rock pools to hunt about in.
I love Amari Hua Hin because their hotel staff are very friendly, accommodating and can speak English well. So we feel at home and comfortable during our stay. Their swimming pool is clean and our kids love to hangout, and same goes with their Shoreline Beach club it’s a great place to unwind and relax. Highly recommend to family and friends.
Very friendly staff. Olivier the host is well travelled and has a lot of stories.
Great room with balcony.
A/C was very good.
Good fridge to keep beverages cold inside the room.
Comfy bed and pillows.
Hotel is located near night market and the beach.
Nice restaurant downstairs.
I really liked their tom yum kung soup, very yummy.
I’m traveling with a wheelchair and a dog. The hotel is almost 100% wheelchair plus dog friendly. It’s rare to find such a well design hotel, both aesthetic wise and universal design wise. Beautiful space. Good food. Good designed space. Good vibe. Good staff. Beach front. Located at the center of Hua Hin.
This hotel was on the beach , and the added bonus was the gorgeous sunrise every day.... spectacular. The room was a good size .we had two pools to choose from .
Food was ok . The staff at reception were very friendly and kind . The hotel is also in a really good location, we walked everywhere.
I have stayed in this hotel in the past , in my opinion one of the best hotels in hua hin , close to everything beach ,Night district ,restaurants , markets , excellent service … room always clean every day..
Hope to visit again soon for a nice long weekend in hua hin
fabio
The pool facilities were amazing. Great gym but needs earlier opening hours. Location was great, close to beach, markets and Tops across the road. Hotel even had a golf buggy to take you the 200m to the beach. Room had great facilities such as a toaster oven.
Fantastic Hotel in the heart of Hua Hin, room fabulous with every attention to detail. Great swimming pool, lobby, and room excellent and clean with superb view over Hua Hin beach and Gulf of Thailand 🇹🇭
The location was great for what I was in Hua Hin for. Everything I needed was close at hand. Access to the beach, shops, nightlife is easy and at most a 5 minute walk.
