First of all, great to have a car park.
The hotel itself is quaint yet stunning inside and out.
Outside/garden area is well kept and beautiful.
Entrance and welcome was spot on. The room was lovely. Well decorated, tidy, spotless, well equipped with a beautiful view of the garden. The mini bottles of Prosecco was a lovely surprise, especially as we were there to celebrate my 60th birthday.
Bathroom light and bright, clean and beautiful.
Kettle with tea/coffee/choc selection, milk and delicious biscuits. Bottles of water were very much appreciated too.
TV in a great position, no crook in the neck in order to watch. Bed super comfy with lovely white bedding.
The premises has a very cosy snug room with an honesty bar, which is a great thought.
Two Dining room areas to accommodate the occupants of the hotel. Plenty of choice on the menu and cereals to help yourself to.
Full Yorkshire breakfast was amazing, yet too much, should have requested a small portion.
Proprietors/staff were very friendly and helpful.
Round up: can't wait to go back.

Wonderful village with excellent amenities and ideal for scenic walks followed by food! great range of cafes, pubs, hotels, fish and chips and a variety of shops. Only slight niggle is the parking is slightly expensive at £3.50 for 2 hrs or £5.50 all day - although card machines were easy to use. There is limited free parking in the village itself but limited to 2 hrs and generally full

Grassington is a lovely place & well worth a visit.
Grassington is a lovely place & well worth a visit. There are pubs, restaurants & cafes, all of which are of a very good standard. It's small & quaint and a great base for walking from. It's great!
All the creative decorations give the entire place (entrance, hall, staircase, room and dining hall) a welcoming and warm atmosphere, without making it kitschy. All of the little details, starting with the handmade shelves, hand-crafted art works all-around the walls, the check-in experience, the Scandinavian style no-shoe policy, ending with how the cooked breakfast is prepared make it obvious that Craiglands is not just a typical B&B in the heart of Yorkshire Dales, but an inviting space that is taken care truly with heart and soul.
Absolutely fabulous location. The room was beautiful and clean, lovely decor, well designed with everything you could possibly need. We had the garden room which had its own door leading out into the garden, which had wonderful views of the Yorkshire Dales. The hosts were welcoming on arrival, a warm wonderful breakfast was delivered to our room daily at a time that suited us. Nothing more I can add other than perfect.. Will definitely be visiting again..
The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The room was adequate but had lovely 'add ons' such as bottled water and a selection of toiletries. There was a live band (duo) playing Saturday evening. The breakfast was good quality. Grassington in a pretty little village. It was a no frills sort of stay, but, that's what we paid for. We loved it. Highly recommend. The staff made it really, oh, and beautiful walking in Yorkshire ofcourse!
Considering we are just coming out of a covid pandemic. Grassington lodge has managed to adapt perfectly. We had minimal up close contact with staff. But felt very welcomed. The breakfast was over at the Devonshire arms just a small walk around the corner, and it was a fantastic full English. Grassington is such a beautiful setting I would advise everyone should visit. We will be returning
This apartment is a little gem. We visited at bank holiday with friends to celebrate a milestone birthday. The apartment is modern, well equipped and is very comfortable. The beds were some of the best we have slept in. The location is great too right in the centre of the village. Our friends enjoyed it so much they immediately made a booking for us to return next year.
We were in Grassington for a Wedding and didn't manage to get to the Hotel till late at night.
Staff were really helpful, put my name on the door so I knew which room were in and left it open.
Only spent a short time in the room which was lovely and the breakfast was a 10 out of 10.
If we manage to get to Grassington again this is the B&B we will be booking.
The Hotel was lovely. The room was great, nice clean bathroom with shower, and the bed was very comfortable indeed. Great location in the centre of Grassington, and the breakfast was beautiful. The restaurant for evening meal (The Morral) was lovely aswell and not too expensive. Great portions for evening meal and breakfast. Service was great.
Great location, village at grasslington exceed my expectation's. Great places to eat and lots of local shops that deserve our support. Lots of local walks.
The guest house is good for a short stay on your way through Yorkshire dales.
Best selection of tea coffees, hot chocolate we have been provided. Free parking always a good perk
Excellent quality of food!
We enjoyed our diner and breakfast very much!
The public footpath into Grassington which takes you through the fields is well recommended! It is only 2 miles and besides the magnificient views you get, you will be able to have that extra drink in town!
A great base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. Our room was comfortable, spacious and quiet with a lovely view over towards Conistone Dib. The carvery was excellent, the staff courteous and accommodating and the delicious breakfast fuelled us up nicely for the day's walking.
great cottage just a short walk out of the centre.
good size for 4 adults.

we loved the garden which was enclosed for our two dogs. also lovely patio to sit and enjoy the amazing views.
had a lovely time and will definitely be going again 👍
The location was great ,the room was spotless and very comfortable, the breakfast was lovely and staff very friendly and helpful, having never been to Grassington before I think we made a superb choice of accommodation, will certainly be returning to this hotel.
Beautiful location in the centre of the village, staff very attentive, hard working and helpful, restaurant food was beautiful and good portions. Whilst the bedroom was on the smaller side it was perfectly adequate, clean and had everything that was required.
Good location, few minutes from grassington by car ( 20 mins walking)
Nice friendly traditional pub/bar/hotel
Staff very friendly and helpful (cheers phil)
Food excellent and plentiful... never made it to dessert.
Location is amazing and the house is a fabulous old period stone cottage. We have been to Grassington several times but never seen Ashfield House as it is tucked back off the main high street, what a find!
Everything was perfect for a short break in the Yorkshire Dales, couldn't have asked for more. Rooms were clean and comfortable, the host was nice and breakfast was delicious (especially the sausages)
The location was perfect. Right in the middle of the village. The breakfast was absolutely incredible, delicious, made to order, every desire was met (hot chocolate), and the service was excellent.
Beautiful location, lovely quiet hotel, it's old and a bit dusty but that's okay, has everything you need lovely bath tub, evening meal and breakfast very nice
