Bala lake itself is obviously the main attraction and that was well visited when we were there but there was plenty of car parking to access along with excellent options for access to the lake from various car parks on both sides of the lake. The town has everything that you'd need & the surrounding countryside is beautiful with some easy walks & some for the more adventurous. I stayed for one night during a three-day cycling tour. Beautiful country around. White Lion Royal Hotel is a good place to stay, especially if you need an early start, as it serves breakfast early. It also serves excellent pub food - though the kitchen closed early this day, so I missed out. Good size toilet and shower. Sitting space is also very spacious and comphy to gather around the dinning table. There is Tv, VCR recorder, dryer everything you need out of home. the host was very pleasant and would deffinatly recomend the stay.

Kitchen is adequately kitted out too. Pub just outside the farm gates and Bala a short drive. Proportions are small, but if you expect something different, don't book a caravan:-)
