I stayed in the attic room - which is just an attic, very small but had the most stupendous view. So that made up for the tight quarters and shared bathroom. Loved that they had free parking right in front. The breakfast was very good in the morning. The staff was super friendly.

One of the top wonderful creations of God!
One of the top wonderful creations of God! A must visit place in Swiss. It's really a cute fairytale valley surrounded by mighty mountain ranges on either sides flowing numerous Loud-Fountains (in German, Lauterbrunnen 😀) We were staying there and have plans with my family to re-visit again and again 😀 a lot to explore still.

This valley is beautiful.
This valley is beautiful. It had amazing views and mutliple things to do. The restaurants weren't the best with exception to Restaurant Weidstübli and Betty's Corn Dogs. Those two places were amazing! The town vas very crowded at times and we were there in the sholder season. Excellent rail link from Interlaken and then access by train...
Excellent rail link from Interlaken and then access by train or cable car to various mountains. Whilst the village is quiet it has a coffee shop and a few other shops open during March, I'm sure many more in the Summer.

The town Lauterbrunnen is wonderful.
The town Lauterbrunnen is wonderful. Small town with a cliff on both sides. Very scenic. Murren and Shilthorn the Ski Attractions are accessible through Lauterbrunnen. Nice cosy hotels and wonderful food and friendly people is what Lauterbrunnen offers. Its very close to the wonderful town Wengen (20 min via train) which is at a Hill top opposite to Lauterbrunnen and connects to Jungfrau - The Top of Europe. Lauterbrunnen is a must visit town if one is visiting Switzerland and wants to enjoy a very scenic and less crowded experience.

The place view is beautiful especially the Staubacch Falls. The property manager is very helpful he was very detailed about entering to the property. If you have questions or problems you can easily contacted him via phone or WhatsApp and he will answer your call right then.

Switzerland is so expensive, yet this hostel provides a budget stay with a great location and comfortable beds. We stayed here in a 4 person bunk room with our teenage daughter to hike for 4 days. We shopped for groceries at the supermarket across the street and appreciated the ability to make ourselves an inexpensive breakfast each day and make sandwiches for a packed lunch each day for our hikes. Our room #4 had a door to the outside balcony with a gorgeous view.

I believe they were the only ones to be open ( restaurant) for the village are 8. but they were not fazed by continued activity. and they also uneducated us to some Swiss delicacies that we would have otherwise not tried. We stayed in a room with a balcony and valley views, which was amazing to wake up to and relax on in the evening. The hotel is also conveniently situated near the train station via a short walk. All the staff are lovely. I'd read several reviews before arriving which said the manager, Adam, was fantastic. I would definitely agree. He was very welcoming and friendly, and was really helpful with advice and tips for our daytrips.

The bus stop is just outside the house, so it was super convenient to carry our luggage to and from the train station. The waterfalls were within view and the walk to town was easy and picturesque. Reka our host was bubbly, cheery and super nice. The apartment was very comfortable, amenities were complete and it was the nicest place we stayed in while in Switzerland.

You have to make your own bed but it is a good measure to keep prices low. The view from the balcony is breathtaking! It is also very helpful that the hostel has its own carpark.
