We travelled on the train to the city then caught the ferry to the Zoo. I must stress that using an opal card was a godsend - it is easy and so cheap to travel around. Light rail and the bus network are great. Put 20 dollars on the opal card and travelled from Maroubra in the east to Manly in the west with plenty of stops. Great value for money. We had a big walk in Hyde park, checked out the Anzac memorial, St Marys cathedral and Hyde park barracks took a bike ride in Centennial park, shopped in down town Sydney. I like the sceneries, old streets, gardens and beaches. Public transports with convenient untouched payment is very easy for visitors, no need to buy transport card nor buying tickets. Free public toilets are clean and very easy access. Peoples rather cold, may be too polite :).

We went to Sydney for a graduation and didn’t plan to tour the city. We found the Uber and DiDi drivers to be friendly and helpful. First time to Sydney and I loved it! The architecture is amazing - so nice to see old buildings not only kept but meticulously restored. The QVB is by far my favourite. Darling Harbour is amazing, as is the ease of getting around to places via ferry from Circular Quay. Taxi's are easy to obtain and pricing is not exuberant. Sad that the Sydney Harbour Bridge is not lit up at night time but a stunning icon nonetheless. The Opera House is as amazing as I envisaged it would be, although the architectural tour should run more than twice on a Saturday. Will definitely be back to see more.AAnonymous

The hotel itself was fine, but what we really liked was the front-desk person who went above and beyond when I called at (local time) 3:00am and requested a wake-up call for my son. He said that there were no phones in the rooms, but that he would personally go and knock on the door and wake our son so that he would not miss his 6:00am flight to Brisbane - and he did. Kudos!

I order Uber Eats a number of times and food was brought up to my room with a cutlery pack straight away. I arrived at 10.30am and was fortunate a room was ready. Location was perfect as it’s right above Wynyard Station, very convenient to get to and from the airport.
