The room was very large and comfortable. I last stayed here 30 years ago but they have obviously upgraded the rooms and the property in general.
The staff were very efficient and helpful. Overall fantastic value.
Staying with Darwin Harbour Suite is one of the best accommodations in town.

This was probably the best accommodation I have ever stayed in. The apartment was extra big, king size bed, full kitchen dining room and full lounge. The bathroom was also fantastic with full laundry in it too.
The balcony was also massive with the view to die for. It was so clean and tidy and was way better then expected.
I can honestly say I wouldn't even look for anywhere else to stay in Darwin and will stay there again for sure.
Very happy 😊

Darwin displays a cocktail of cultures from ‘Aussie larrikins’ to the local Aboriginals from Larrakia Country. Throw in an influx of international visitors who now call the Top End of Australia home, and this concoction bedazzles with busy outdoor markets and an adequate supply of drinking holes (pubs).
The modern Darwin Wharf precinct, including Stokes Hill Wharf, still gleams on those endless summer days having been rebuilt after the destruction caused both during World War II bombings and Cyclone Tracey. Grab a bar stool with a view of the harbour or a seat on a terrace and sip a cool drink in Australia’s northernmost, tropical capital city.
A popular time for tourists is Darwin’s dry season that starts in May and ends in October. If you prefer it hot and humid, then the end of the wet season can be spectacular when the waterfalls in Kakadu and Litchfield national parks are at their mightiest.
Australia’s wild frontier can be reached all the way from Adelaide and Alice Springs along the picturesque Stuart Highway that ends at Daly Street in the CBD. Outside the centre are the natural surrounds in Palmerston, Humpty Doo and closer by is Mindil Beach with its famous Sunset Market.
Darwin International Airport has international flights from Singapore and Bali. You can choose from a variety of hotels, hostels and apartments on Booking.com.

We loved our trip to Darwin unfortunately we only stayed for four days so were not able to see as much as we wanted to but we still had a good time. We used the free public buses that senior card holders can use and this got us to the Casino, Mindil beach market and Fannie Bay. We went on a sunset cruise on the harbour and took advantage of the free shuttle bus that goes around the waterfront to get us to and from the boat.

Great town with some good bars and restaurants, the waterfront area is an upper class feel as apposed to down town. Heading out to Berry springs and Litchfield national park is a must do if you like swimming in pristine waterholes and of course going to the Mindil Beach night markets and watching the sunset.

Darwin winter we found very humid, the heat was expected. City is vibrant with good food outlets, but not a lot catering to Ceoliacs.
Street parking, be aware it is all timed meters.
Mindil sunset markets are a must go to. Lots of street foods at reasonable prices.
Wave pool on waterfront was fun, and reasonably priced.

Darwin has a vibe, full of lovely cafes and nightspots and a very interesting history from World War 2 and Cyclone Tracy. The Waterfront area is beautiful, lovely well maintained parks and fabulous markets. Evenings, everyone comes out to see the spectacular sunsets over the water. Evenings are warm - people go out walking, outdoor exercise classes and pop up eateries galore. Gateway also to Litchfield, Katherine and Kakadu - what's not to love!

I really found the on off bus was very good, really helpful and cost effective. A great way to find your way around Darwin and find the touring attractions which were very interesting & enjoyable.
I liked the warm weather not too humid in April.
I may come back next year in July just to get way from Adelaide's winter.
Everything is always great here. Favourite commercial accomodation/hotel-apartment place to stay in Darwin by far. Staff here are absolutely wonderful, service is always amazing: they are all very warm and welcoming, approachable & accomodating - very helpful and kind. I love the apartments, privacy and balcony views regardless whether city or ocean (you can see Ocean from anywhere high up in Darwin!). Super comfortable, great beds and always super clean. Thank you Pandanas for always being so beautiful!
Lovely hotel, when in Darwin, make sure to stay at least a couple of nights here, it is truly worth the money. We stayed in four different hotels in Darwin and this one was by far the best. One of the best lagoon pools in Australia, feels truly like a holiday. Walking distance to Botanical gardens, next to Mindil markets, rooms spacious and well appointed. Good mix of guests from all ages.$10 taxi fare to Darwin city or take the affordable easy to ride Neuron scooters. Quick checkout.
The three bedroom apartment that we stayed at was really clean, modern and comfortable for six adults. The pool was decent in size and clean, a great place to hangout and cool down in the Darwin heat. The location is great! There’s a few takeaways and restaurants just outside the hotel and a couple of shopping centres a few minutes drive. It wasn’t too far from the Darwin city either as there really isn’t traffic there so 20-25 minutes tops to get there.
It's located in a lovely area of Darwin, with plenty or restaurants shops, art galleries, things to do and see. The room itself is comfortable and clean. The room has plenty to offer with from a good sized bathroom, quality appliances, excellent bed, and a balcony overlooking the Bicenntenial Park. Theres a huge pool, and parking, a spa and more. The staff are friendly and helpful. Very easy taxi service to get to and from darwin airport.
Provision of free airport shuttle was the main attraction to this hotel. We had arrived for the first time in Darwin at 5 a.m.. Was great that our phone call to the hotel was promptly answered with clear instructions on where we should wait for the hotel pick-up.
Front desk check-in was efficient upon arrival. The hotel beds were comfortable.
Located close to the airport so we stayed here after arriving in Darwin at 1am and on our last day as we had a 1.20am flight home. Had a lot of trouble contacting the hotel for a shuttle pick up on arrival but shuttle when leaving was good. Had an extremely noisy air conditioner in 1 room. Airport Hotel next door for meals etc and nice pool.
We were in Darwin for a family funeral and the City Gardens Apartments suited us perfectly! We could walk to the shops and we were also close to the Cathedral for the funeral. We had a downstairs unit which was perfect for access to the pool, and the manager was very accommodating when we needed extra towels etc. Thanks for your hospitality!
The one bedroom fully self contained apartment with washer, dryer, full size fridge was very spacious and had a great view of marina and surrounding bay. The apartment was very clean and ideal for our 4 night stay. 5 minute walk to Restaurants and only 10 minute drive into Darwin city or Waterfront.
these apartments are everything you need for a trip to Darwin/NT; including the perfect location. All amenities are catered for & the place feels homely, spacious and very quiet and clean. It’s exceptional for privacy and luxury. Also, the comfiest beds made for the cherry on top :) will stay again!
This is a great place to stay in Darwin. It has a great location and is real value for money. It is not the classiest place in town but the staff match any 6 star hotel.
The room has what you need without being luxury .The pool is just right on a hot day in Darwin!
.
Darwin City Hotel is awesome. The hotel is very clean, and the staff are professional, friendly and always obliging. The rooms are spacious, and the beds are very comfortable. Its location is perfect for going to restaurants, pubs and shopping.
All the staff very personable from breakfast staff to front desk and evening staff. Very friendly and always with a smile. Special mention for Hannah. Great location too. Will definitely return to Argus hotel next time we visit Darwin.
The apartments, while a little dated, were clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, and the supplied linen was clean and fresh. The location is great, central to Darwin without the price being excruciatingly high.
I travel a lot for work, I stay and a lot of hotel motels, Novatel Darwin airport, is the worst unprofessional dirty disgusting place I have ever stayed at, would never recommend to anyone
The hotel seems quite new. The rooms are really big and comfortable. Breakfast omelettes were very good. Palmerston is about 25 minutes out of Darwin city, but suited us quite well.
Decent room - a little overpriced. Great location - staff were friendly. Place seemed like a three-star hotel. Pool was quite nice and overall seemed like a reasonable place to stay.
The facilities are ok. One of the cheapest options in Darwin.
If you are at the age of crazy partying and not giving a sheet about anything else, it is a nice place to be
