Two full days is plenty of time to explore Berat.
Two full days is plenty of time to explore Berat. The castle is worth a visit maybe a taxi up and walk down as its very steep. The two bridges are nice to walk over and the view at night is wonderful. A nice reasonable restaurant is Friendly House the restaurant is upstairs and looks out over the river.

Berat is definitely on of the cool city on my list. It will be great to hire a tour guide for the explanation and exploration around the old castle area.
Based on the local suggestion, every year, there is an event called epiphany on Jan 6. It will be super good if you can witness this wonderful event.

Was very underwhelmed by Berat.
Was very underwhelmed by Berat. One big building site and litter everywhere. View is alright but nothing special. Not much to do. Very quiet in March but traffic already tough so wouldn’t want to be there in summer.
Only playground in the village was extremely dirty and many things were broken.

Beautiful view of the mountains, interesting castle, nice walks available. Very affordable. We ate at Pizza Visi and it was fresh and tasty (and very informal). We also took a great walking tour with Lazzaro.

This is a great place to stay. We could not imagine that we would be able to stay in such a cozy and beautiful place. This hotel has a large terrace where we had an incredible breakfast. Lemons and tangerines grow in the yard. We came from Siberia and it was a real shock for us!
The staff were very friendly and caring. Unfortunately we only stayed there for one night. I have a lot of videos and even a room-tour, but here I cannot attack.
if I have even one chance to visit Berat again, I will stay at Villa Arbi.
Thanks guys 🤍
Beautiful location within walking distance of every important sight in Berat. The host showed us true Albanian hospitality and made us feel like we were visiting family. The host was extremely passionate about his hotel and the guest experience, willing to help with any questions we had. I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Berat, if we ever come back to Albania we would book this hotel again without a doubt. We will never forget the amazing time we had here during our stay!
We loved our stay here. The terrace was the most beautiful place to sit in the morning for breakfast and evening looking over the town of Berat. The family were so kind and welcoming and helpful and we loved saying hi and having quick chats as we came and went each day. The room was comfortable and quiet and the AC worked great. They helped us to easily park on the street outside the hotel and we felt very safe, welcome, and relaxed here.
This is probably the best hotel with reasonable price you can get if you are travelling by bus! The hotel is only a few minutes from Berat bus terminal!
The room was super huge, with nice decoration! There is even a balcony - though it's facing the main road.
We also like the bathroom a lot - clean and large.
The breakfast was great - with great portion and different varieties!
The hotel was within the vicinity of Berat Castle and there was a bunch of restaurants surrounding the hotel. The hotel owner was great. The best host and super hospitable.
I usually don't think very highly of breakfast served in hotels since they're usually not very tasty. However, the free breakfast was excellent. The byrek, the fetus cheese, the fig and carrot jams were all tasty.
The owner was very friendly and helpful! The breakfast was superior with traditional food products.
There were welcome drinks and snacks! A parking area was located just a few meters away from the hotel. The room was exactly as depicted in the photos! It is only five minutes walking from the center of Berat. We will definitely visit it again!
A very friendly staff, a plenty of choices during breakfast. A fantastic value for money; It was nice to get a welcome drink (water) taking into account the heatwave at that time. The hotel you cannot miss in Berat; so easy to find! All the guests can use an indoor pool free of charge. We could also have a later check out without any problems.
The accommodation is really cozy and clean :)
In the middle of Berat and staff were very sweet
We arrived about 7pm and we asked the hotel staff about a car park which was just next to the bridge where the hotel is
Clean room with a comfy mattress
Super tasty breakfast and dinner was also an option to order in their cozy dining room
I liked everything about this hotel, the location, the view, the hosts were really helpful.
But most of all I enjoyed their breakfast, its amazing, one of the best breakfast I have every had.
Everything was cooked perfectly and it was really tasty.
i will definetly go again there to stay one more night when I visit Berat again.
We did a two week trip in Albania staying in some of top rated hotels around the main tourist cities. Hani i Xheblatit was our total favourite - immediately picked us up from the bus station at arrival, welcome tray of fruits and local alcohol(raki), best breakfast ever and greatest view of berat possible. Nicest hosts
The staff was very nice and helpful. Every detail was taken care of. the room is very night and the location is perfect when visiting Berat, everything is walking distance. Last but not least, we were 2 weeks in different hotels in Albania and the best breakfast award goes to White House Berat.
The hotel location is perfect at the heart of Berat.
Staff are so friendly, the reception lady was so nice and polite.
Room size and facilities were as we expected and the breakfasthas some really delicious options. I definitely recommend it.
Amazing hotel in the heart of old Gorica quarter in Berat. The hotel is on the hill and they serve an amazing breakfast (with some of the freshest products we tasted during our trip in Albania) in the top terrace overlooking the whole city.
Great value for money downtown Berat. The staff of this family owned hotel is friendly and helpful and you will certainly feel at home. Nice rooms with clean functional toilets. Everything is new, although it is a gorgeous historical house.
It's is a small, cozy hotel in a beautiful location at Berat. The staff made us feel very comfortable and at home. The rooms are exactly like the pictures shown.
We stayed here for two nights and it was a great decision!!
Really excellent hotel for a great value. Breakfast is great. View is really nice, and the location is ideal for the historic portion of Berat and newer area along the promenade. Would absolutely stay here again.
