The Gold Coast from Broadbeach and north has an excellent tram system for easy travelling to restaurants, beaches and shopping. The Gold Coast continues to improve with lots of activity options. Car hire from Budget rentals at the airport was great valve with excellent customer service & able to pick up car straight from airport to head to Southport. Lots of new shopping centres with plenty of parking. Booked accomodation & car hire on Booking.com. Hired a Hamptons house in Southport that was huge & perfect for our group who was there for 3 days to attend a funeral.

best thing was the efficient tram network and bus systems that allowed us to get to the theme parks, along popular streets like Cavell avenue and was also a cheap way of travelling. we really appreciated that.

The Gold Coast is just beautiful, relaxed & friendly.
The Gold Coast is just beautiful, relaxed & friendly.
We stayed at The Iconic in Kirra Beach, which was super handy for the FISHER concert at Coolangatta - KIWI'S Love FISHER!
The food at Siblings was not just good, it was outstanding! It is a culinary experience not to be missed.
The love Street Cafe - the line out the door is worth the wait - the food is wholesome and delicious!
We visited the Pacific Fair - well laid out, with great shops & excellent food.
Burleigh Pavilion is not just a place to drink and eat, it's a vibrant hub where you can mingle while overlooking the surf-break.
Kira & Kira Furniture Store in Burleigh Heads is the store to be noticed. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and the stock quality is fabulous, including the one-off pieces and unique artwork. They have a design team to help with the complete set-up of your home and more!

There is always something to get involved with on the Gold Coast and Surround ing area -- Walking the Beaches , Walking the bush walks - small trips to the hinterland . Boatrides around the canals , Quacka Duck tours on land and on the water .. also plenty of entertainment -- street Buskers - Night shows -- Sky Diving- Ballooning- Surfing .. there is always something to do .
This hotel is located in central Gold Coast, only a short 5min walk to the beach and surrounding Soul boardwalk (a strip of dining, shopping and attractions). Driving to and from places, like the theme parks, was also very convenient and with the Bruce Bishop car park ($50/week) right behind the hotel made for easy commuting.
The room was very spacious, together with a small kitchenette and balcony (with a good view). The bed was super comfy and the pillows had the right level of 'density' (not too hard, not too soft).
My family and I loved everything about the stay! From the apartment itself to the owners Michael and his partner! They were really friendly and helpful. Even helped us to book the tickets to the theme parks and transport. They also gave a lot of tips and advises on the places to visit. Really glad that we booked the apartment too as they even offered us an extra night so that we won't have to move to a hotel on our last night. Really loved the experience and will definitely be back the next time we visit Gold Coast!
1. Excellent view from our room - we stayed in high floor 3 bedrooms ocean view room (we are small family (2 adult, 1 child and 1 baby) but we picked 3 bedrooms just to ensure we get better chance of high floor, we had many great pictures of Gold Coast from our windows)
2. Great location of the resort - walking distance to the famous beach, shops and restaurants
3. Car park is available during the stay although it can be challenge to fit a big SUV
4. Free Wifi is provided (mobile reception is poor there)
The room was quiet large and very comfortable with an excellent view of the runway next door. It is a 1 minute walk to the terminal and 2 minute walk to the bus stop that will take you along the coast to neighbouring towns. There were multiple restaurants in the hotel but also some cheaper options within walking distance. they also give you the option to extend your stay by the hour if needed. It was also very quiet despite its location. Highly recommend if you’re flying out!
Location in Broadbeach was fabulous, around the corner from the Oasis centre, restaurants and bars and across from the beach.
The thing that lets this property down is its very tired now. the apartments need a good refresh and the furniture needs to be put together better as everything wasn't properly fixed and the walls and doors need a serious paint.
It was clean though.
Our stay this time, we were put into a room better suited to the size of our family. It was spacious, clean and functional.
The staff were always so happy and helpful.
The position of this hotel gives you so many dining options in and around Surfer Paradise. There is always something to do also.
This is our number 1 pick when we stay at the Gold Coast.
Great location, away from busy Surfer's Paradise but still within a short drive of most of the attractions.
There was plenty of free parking, the hotel staff was super friendly and reliable and the included breakfast had a wide selection of quality food. Overall the entire family enjoyed the stay and would love to stay again.
Nothing! After looking so forward to visiting Gold Coast with my family, we were extremely disappointed to stay at this 'so called' luxury hotel. I am in the process of finalizing a formal complaint.
If I really had to choose one good thing, it would be it is located in the city center.
The staff are lovely! Our room was clean and cozy. The only thing we would have liked was if our beds were made daily but otherwise it’s a beautiful hotel to stay in.
Parking is a little pricey as the rooms aren’t the cheapest but we always enjoy our stay.
Great location, close to everything in GC and broadbeach. Apartments are new and laid out well. Staff were nice and welcoming. Facilities were nice, we enjoyed the use of BBQ/Heated pool/spa as well. Appts are serviced as well which is nice.
Location was excellent property has aged and needs updating and some areas cleaning. I do not believe this establishment warrants the price charged and in my opinion is a 3.5 star hotel. Enjoyable overall but room for improvement.
Decided to stay the night on the GC and this was a nice, last minute cheap option. The set up was great - interesting layout of all the capsules and nice common area to hang out in, as the capsules themselves are really small.
Traveling to Gold Coast was first time for my family and I, we had a great time in Peninsular 21b. The property was vey clean and comfortable, the location absolutely close to the Surface Paradise street. Thanks Nigel
The best hotel we have stayed in and one of the cheapest. Great value for money and the breakfast buffet was even better than the expensive hotels such as the Novotel.
This is the best location we have stayed at on the Gold Coast. And the apartments are amazingly spacious with views directly to the ocean.
Will definitely be back!
Great Location, cheap and cheerful hotel. Your get what you pay for everything was ok and good value for the money our room could do with a new couch really
