How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The pillows were not comfortable, too bulky and not soft.
The location was very close to the beach, the room was big enough and breakfast was rich and tasty. all the staff members were helpful, we got a lot of help from the receptionist. We liked the outside facilities, sitting outside to eat breakfast and access to the roof with a narrow view of the see.

Reasonably priced lovely place with clean rooms and at the most perfect location, the beach, the port and Dizengoff street was all we needed. Def will be back.

The hotel is in a great location and very clean. Restaurants everywhere near by, the beach is a block away. I would stay here again for sure

We were a bit disappointed with the breakfast. By 10 o'clock there was only bread and some cheese left, so we had to go to the city to eat. There was also an unpleasant smell from the toilet in our room although it was clean
The hotel is clean and quiet, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the location is excellent. Also, there is an opportunity to relax on the roof with the perfect view of the sea.

Reception was very nice and polite. There were beverages and snacks at the lounge. There was a basic continental breakfast, that was very high quality. The room was very clean, with a floor carpet and a very fluffy bed. The room was clean and tidy. Very good location, close to the port which has lots of restaurants and shops, and close to the Yarkon river that has many recreational activities around it.

The breakfast was very basic with very few options. The room was less than expected from the photos.

Great location kind of like a hidden gem. Nice quiet part of North Tel Aviv. Julien in the breakfast room is always a pleasure to speak with. This is our second visit. Schlomo at the front desk manager and Victoria are very nice ! Thank you

One thing to note, though, is the sound insulation could use some work. We could hear a lot from a nearby disco pretty much all night. Luckily, we were so worn out that we managed to sleep anyway, but if you’re someone who needs it really quiet to get some shut-eye, it could be a bit of an issue.
We recently stayed at this hotel in the heart of Tel Aviv and it was pretty great. The location is spot on – right in the middle of everything. Just a heads-up, parking around there can be tricky. I came with a broken leg, but the hotel was on point with a lift and a shower chair, really made things easier for me. About the room, it was clean and had everything we needed. It was a bit on the small side, but honestly, it was totally fine for us. The hotel staff were accommodating and helpful, which added to the positive experience.

The hotel is close to the old port of Tel Aviv. It's a very nice hotel with extremely friendly and accommodating personnel at the reception and in the breakfast room. We have not been the first time in this hotel and we were for sure not the last time.

The New Port Hotel is a small hotel with the friendliest and most helpful staff that I have met at any hotel. The rooms are small, but the beds are very comfortable and quiet. That includes the AC being quiet and effective. The location is very convenient to beaches and many restaurants in the port area. I was happy that I made this choice and would definitely stay there again.
