Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaI left some food in the fridge and when I returned a few hours later, the receptionist didn't know what had happened to it. It's likely that it was thrown away, but the receptionist wasn't aware.
It's a great place to stay: quiet and clean. There are several eateries nearby along with a mini-market. Underground parking is available for an additional fee, just a 5-minute walk away. The beach is also just a 5-minute walk away. Most of the staff at the reception were very helpful.

IsraelPaper thin walls. Could hear all the conversations of our neighbors.
The room met my expectations. For 300 Shekels per night, while hotels around are 1000+, the property did its work. If you are looking just for a place to sleep in and travel around, this is the perfect little spot. The room is quite big, we even had a little yard as well. Beds are comfy, AC is new and powerful, rooms it self is clean. There is no breakfast but there is a bakery 3 minutes away for a quick morning snack and coffee.

IsraelNothing critical, but there are some moments you need to know: - There is a deposit (1 night amount) - You should present the card you used to pay at the check-in.
Big room, with additional sofa bed for a child. There is a terrace and small kitchen facilities. Parking near the hotel

IsraelWe had a question regarding billing. Host was nervous. Instead of explaining things calmly , he said that if we don't believe him we should leave. We were there with the kids at night time, where we should leave !!! At the end, the host was right but he should learn to manners!
Great price, reasonable clean room. Will come again.

IsraelThe rooms are very basic, but sparkling clean. This place is great value - if all you want is a decent bed and a quiet place to sleep while getting out during the day, this is the spot. No frills, no extras but it was perfect for me - all I wanted to do was go out hiking and exploring the spectacular landscape and rest quietly at night. The room has a comfortable bed and includes a sofabed and simple kitchenette. It was good for two people. The grounds are well maintained and very quiet, conveniently located in the center of town. I'll come again.

IsraelNice quiet location, but also close to the center of the city, with enough parking spaces. The room was better than we anticipated - beautiful large double bed, very nice sofa, a table, closet, good sized fridge, nice kitchen with utilities and small kettle, everything clean and great. Good air condiitioner which is very important in Eilat. There is a small patio outside with small table and chairs where you can sit and eat if you like. Very good value for the price! The ouside (inside the Classic Inn property) is beautiful and have nice places to sit. There are a lot of cats outside which I guess for someone who is allergic to cats or don't like cats is a minus, but we like cats so for us it was very nice to see them and to see how good they are taken care for! The owner of the place is nice, and didn't mind at all that we had a non-paying visitor to sit with us outside (inside the Classic Inn property). Simple payment proccess at the property, no problem.

ItalyThe owner was rude ("we are no 5 stars hotel, we have no shower gel here, the soap will do") and not there for us to check in and almost never to be found. I found quite unacceptable that you're requested to check-in at 3pm, and even 6pm on holidays...what do you pay the room for? Price was waaaay to high for what we got, sorry to say it. And we didn't get the room with the garden (which from the pics looked like any room in the establishment)
All in all it wasn't so bad, I personally wasn't bothered and even liked having cats around the property. There was a nice common around around with a futsal and a table tennis, which added quite a nice touch.

IsraelThe beds weren’t the most comfy, but we’re okay. And the walls were a little thin but not too bad!
We enjoyed this place, we only stayed one night though. The rooms weren’t AMAZING but they were good! There is a nice area outside to play Ping pong and lounge around which I wasn’t aware of in the booking which was great! We would stay here again.

RussiaThe room had not been cleaned properly, we had to clean the shelf ourselves to remove dust in order to use it. We discovered 2 dead cockroaches on the floor at the beginning of our stay but no alive ones during the visit. Also, there was good audibility. We could hear neighbors talking in their rooms, but fortunately, the neighboring room was empty for most of our visit.
Comfortable bed and pillows, not far from the central bus station. The host was responsive and tried to resolve encountered problems.
