This hotel totally exceeded our expectations. They claim that they offer a "wellcation" and they really do. They thought of every single detail of how a guest can make the best of their vacation in terms of relaxation and wellbeing. We attended almost all activities they provide despite having a one year old baby :) Why? Because we enjoyed them so much and they created such a great atmosphere that even exercising at 8 am and 3 pm seemed so natural. The food is organic (!); our baby loved their breakfast with wide variety of fresh fruits, we loved their Thai dishes for breakfast, freshly squeezed and best tasting mango juice. They even have their own bakery on-site. The housekeeping service was twice daily. The staff was exceptional in making us feel great. We even attended a tour with a longtail boat to Hong island which I also recommend. I also recommend working out in Varana's fitness which is perfectly equipped. When we drove to night market in Ao Nang, we were extremely satisfied also with the location of Varana which is a 15 minute drive from Ao Nang. This is great because Ao Nang is overly packed with tourists. Overall, we will come again and again and again for sure and recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to invest in their overall health and wellbeing :)

We had an amazing stay here! The resort itself is beautiful and so well kept, and has amazing views. Every single staff member was amazing; they were attentive without being overbearing and all were genuinely kind. The food at breakfast & in the restaurant was so delicious. It was in a perfect location to explore the surrounding islands/ beaches. We did daily longboat rentals that the staff booked for us and were picked up right in front of the property. If you are relatively able bodied, don’t let the other comments about the stairs scare you. The bed is firmer than most, but still comfortable and we slept well every night. This is the place that we would tell all of our loved ones to stay at if they ever come to this part of the world. Thank you for a perfect stay!

The resort feels and is remote but only a 10 - 15 minute drive from Aonang. The resorts runs a car into town twice a day. The alternative is to hire a motorbike. I assume one can get a taxi, grab or tuk tuk back from town to the resort. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was basic but more than adequate. They have a good restaurant and bar, It is perfectly feasible to stay at this resort for the entire time and not have to go into town if you want a quiet holiday. It is right on the beach however the water is very shallow and when the tide is out there is a several hundred meter walk to the water which is still shallow. Ideal for families with little children IMO or someone wanting a quiet time. The air conditioner could be kept on all day unlike other hotels and resort where the electricity to the room shuts off when the key is removed from the holder. All other electricity is turned off.

We loved everything about this amazing hotel beautifully decorated in very stylish Thai decor surrounded by beautiful garden, water features, pools and wild life. The breakfast was always extra good, we specially liked small desserts in banana leaves, selection of thai and other dishes, very attentive staff and impeccable service in general as we also had few dinners there too, always super delicious. I loved our terrace with direct access to pool, so nice. We also booked massages, some nice trip to Phi Phi islands and scooters which you need to explore environment and going to nice beaches. We truly appreciated calm serene feeling of being in this hotel, definitely jewel we will be visiting again.
