Rockefeller Center
For the ultimate NYC sightseeing, head down to 30 Rockefeller Center – home of the NBC network, and the inspiration for Tina Fey’s comedy series, "30 Rock." Take the elevator up to the 70th floor observation deck—or "Top of the Rock"—to see soaring skyscrapers and the vast green carpet of Central Park unfolding beneath you.

Busy place but chill crowd generally.
Busy place but chill crowd generally. Some nice shops, good takeout snacks and food in the concourse. Beautiful architecture either St. Patrick’s Cathedral across the street. It’s lovely. Pricy Top of the Rock but excellent vantage for photos.

Go to Top of the Rock for awesome views at day of Central Park and the Empire State Building. I finally went and I really enjoyed it. You can buy tickets on site for about $40 and can reserve your time for that day. There are plenty of places to eat, shop, and snack around the ground floor of the building.

Lobby & lower concourse areas open to the public, visit the fancy shops in 30 Rockefeller Plaza. Beautiful black and polished brass decor screams luxury and style. View the magnificent Depression era murals as well - well worth a brief stop.

Lego store and the 100 year old toy store that is behind the center. The exciting part about this center is the fact your in the location of certain movies, other then that it is just a very expensive shopping mall

Great views of central park and the empire state building!
Great views of central park and the empire state building! Try to visit at sunset time and stay until the city lights are turned on! Its pure magic. However if you want to take photos of you with background the entire city prefer to go as early in the morning as possible to avoid crowds!

People are talking about Rockefeller Center! Explore guest hotel reviews featuring "Rockefeller Center"
The location is perfect. Very convenient to Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Central Park, Whole Foods and the Upper West Side. Subways are only a few blocks away and you can easily walk to Times Square, Rockefeller Center and most of Midtown. The location is busy, but not "crazy busy" and crowded, as you find closer to Times Square.
First & foremost, the pricing was reasonable, given it was "off peak".....middle of winter. Thick walls/doors helped with sound proofing. Loved the coziness of the hotel, which I could see people staying here for longer terms due to its central location to businesses. Loved the proximity to so much: Radio City, restaurants, Central Park, 5th Ave, Rockefeller Center, Theater District, MOMA.
We were close to many attractions and we walked to Time Square, Rockefeller Center, and Radio City Music Hall. The last couple days we took the subway which was easy and convenient. The room was spacious and clean. There was a separate king size bedroom and had a living room with a pull out couch for our teenagers. The staff was very friendly and helpful with places to eat and setting up a roll in bed one of our daughters. We also had adjoining rooms with our adult kids. The set up was perfect for the 6 of us.
Loved the location! Fantastic!
Walked to Rockefeller Center, our play, Wicked, Nobu 57...very convenient.
Staff was amazing - especially the Bell Team " Dave" and "Dino"!
Friendly front desk staff. Rooms were clean and updated but it was a tight squeeze for a family of 4 with very little space for luggage. The location was perfect for Christmas sights- short walks to Byrant Park, Rockefeller Center, Macy’s and more. The location felt very safe!
I would like to end with the good part. The hotel honored our reservations and found another king room for my family to share. It was not ideal, but they made it right. The room that they gave us was wonderful!! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was kind and understanding to my frustration. The location to Rockefeller Center and Radio City and St. Patrick's Cathedral was perfect. Thank you for all you did for my family!!!
Staff was friendly and tried to be helpful. The hotel and room were kept clean. Proximity to Broadway/Times Square/Rockefeller Center/etc. was very convenient.
This hotel was in the perfect location for the things we wanted to do in NYC. It was within walking distance of time square, rockefeller center, theatres and parks. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
The Hotel was lovely! Warm, inviting lobby with 24 hour water and coffee station. The front desk staff was so pleasant and helpful! Our queen suite room was lovely and roomier than other stays we've had in NYC. We were able to walk to Madison Square Garden for our concert and also to Rockefeller Center, 5th Ave., to enjoy the holiday displays. We would definitely return in the future.
Fantastic hotel in the heart of Times Square and Rockefeller Center! Staff and cleanliness were great. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Utrolig serviceinnstilt og hjelpsomme. Vi var på Rockefeller Center og så etter toalett, vi så sikkert litt bortkomne ut, ung gutt som satt i en trapp spurte om vi lette etter noe? Og forklarte veien.
