Brooklyn Bridge

Once the world’s largest suspension bridge, Brooklyn Bridge is 5,989 feet (or just over a mile) long. Throw on a jacket and head across this windy stretch for some amazing skyline views – especially on the way from Brooklyn to Manhattan. Time your stroll for sunset to watch the city lights twinkle into life against the pink and orange sky.

Have a great lunch at a great restaurant located under the bridge, I believe the name is something like Little River Cafe. You can take the ferry from Manhattan and get off on the other side of the river, the restaurant is next to the ferry landing station. Expensive but great place for scargots if you like french cuisine.

We took the subway across & walked across the bridge towards Manhattan as this gave us the best views. Loads of souvenir sellers. Mind you keep to the correct side of the walkway or you can clearned up by the cyclists if not.

Recommendation: cross the Brooklyn Bridge from Manhatttan to Brooklyn and turn left for Dumbo, to get exceptional views from the Manhattan bridge. Turn right to enjoy the skyline. On the way back, use the Manhattan bridge to cross from Brooklyn to Manhattan to enjoy even better views from the NY skyline, and you'll land right in Chinatown! :)

I've walked across the bridge twice; once from Brooklyn into Manhattan and vice-versa. In my opinion, take the walk from Brooklyn to Manhattan. There's less people on the pathway and the view walking toward Manhattan is so much better.

We got the subway to Williamsburg’s Dumbo area and got the East Ferry down to Wall Street. Passed below the bridge for good pics including skyline. From Wall Street it’s 15 min walk to Staton Island ferry.

Good views of manhattan from the bridge and also visit the Brooklyn park for good photo shots. If you want a peaceful walk across you will need to go before 7am. Anytime after this be prepared for it to be very busy.

We enjoyed the breakfast very much. That was the reason why we chose this hotel in the first place. The building is pretty new or it has been recently renovated. Each room has an iron and an ironing board. We needed to attend a wedding so having an the iron was very convenient to us. Each room also has a small fridge. We put our drinks and beverages in the fridge. The location is not particularly great, but it is close to subway stations and walking distance from the Brooklyn Bridge and the Wall Street area. You can literally walk to Brooklyn.

The staff were amazing-front desk was very helpful when we needed to extend our reservation, find medical services etc. The hotel location was a selling feature - easy subway access, Urgent Care was across the street, great food options in the neighborhood, close to City Hall, Brooklyn Bridge, World TradeCentre, Whole Foods etc.

Location location location. It's located in a walking distance to prime attractions in NYC- 9/11 memorial, charging bull, shopping districts, battery park to catch a ferry to the Liberty island. a short drive to Brooklyn Bridge, . They have a observatory bar at 20th floor for stunning views at night. The free coffee and water on the main floor was a plus for me. The staff is accommodating, and can store your luggage on request. There is a ATM on 3rd floor which can be handy. Every floor has water fountain and refillable bottles.
