Breakfast was excellent, the house is a beautifully renewed building in the upper part of town, very easy to access and near a public car park (free) if you're driving from Navacarros (great scenic road). Coming from Bejar access is a bit trickier, as you have to drive through the village, but the host is very helpful and provides clear instructions.

The rooms are gorgeous and the staff were very accommodating as we had a very late arrival due to delayed ferry. Beautiful views. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Owners very friendly and let us overstay in the property for few more hours, we appreciate it very much as the kids were having so much fun. It is in a secluded location, it has complete privacy (no overview from any property around) and within a walk to a beautiful town or a quick drive (8Km) to astonishing views to the valley. You have an astonishing view up to the mountains and forest from the property
Every thing very clean, excellent sport facilities within the property and swimming pool big enough to play as a family of four. They supply everything you need as it was your own home.
we have a GSD and it is very well fenced so it seems impossible for her to scape. Without a doubt the best property we have hired to date plenty to do without going out the property.
A hidden gem in the Salamanca province. One of the most beautiful villages we have ever seen in Spain. So spotlessly clean, so nicely-kept and we particularly liked that it was not full of souvenir shops.

It is a beautiful village in a wonderful environment and stunning scenery . Very much worth a whole weekend stay for some hiking and visiting the surroundings. Good restaurants: we went to Casa Küme, which was very good but I know that Posada de Candelario, where we were staying, has a good resturant too.
Wonderful short break in this beautiful property of two and a half centuries old! The bedroom was very tastefully decorated with a lovely view from the balcony. The breakfast deserves a special mention as included were some delicious cakes, homemade by the wonderfully friendly Alicia. She told us the rural hotel was her life, and it shows!! Will return if we are ever back in the area!
We booked this hotel off spec on our way from the Costa del Sol to Santander for the ferry. The location is exceptional with an amazing hilltop village well worth scouting out. The hotel manager was super, giving us tips on where to eat and was most accomodating with our two small dogs
The town was a revelation, tiny cobbled streets and beautiful old buildings. The hotel is a charming period property nearly at the topmost part of the village. Need your witts about you to find. Municipal car park at the top. Very dog friendly.
Anna the owner is very welcoming. Explained the reason why at this moment there are no restaurant service in the hotel but gave us alternatives. Made a reduction in our payment to allow for the provision of breakfast.
We liked the warm welcome and the hospitality. Small charming, rural, rustic hotel. I would describe the decor as shabby chic, and that's meant to be a complement. Perfectly suited to the village it is in.
