We stayed two nights at this hotel, on the the first day and the last day of our stay at Baku. We got very different experience in the stay.
The first stay was superb. We were picked up from the airportThe lady at the reception was very kind and helpful. They upgraded our room, which was very nice. We had a very good view from the window. Enjoyed our stay thoroughly.
The second stay was equally bad. First at the reception we had the worst experience of lifetime. We were supposed to pay 225 Azerbaijan Manat. I was in a great hurry to go to the toilet and gave my husband 245 Manat cash and went off. My husband thought we were supposed to pay 245 Manat and paid the whole amount to the gentleman at the reception who took the full amount and counted in front of my husband and kept it. My husband rechecked if he has to pay 245 and the receptionist said "yes". When I came to know about it, I went to the reception and asked him why he took 245, when the tariff was 225 Manat. He told me that he has taken only 225. He told the same to my husband. He refused to accept the fact that he has taken extra money. It was very strange for us, as we never expected it from a hotel. The money is small, but the feeling of being cheated made us feel miserable. Even the room given to us was quite bad.
The hotel location is good, they offer pickup and drop to the airport. Breakfast is ok. But be careful, you may be cheated.
