We loved it. The harbour area is fantastic - really interesting historic area (The Rocks). Lots of access by ferry to some gorgeous places - Manly, Doyles restaurant at Watson Bay, etc. Lovely botanic gardens, very good museums including the art gallery. Good transport system. Tour of Sydney Opera House is a must. There are obviously beaches nearby too.

If we had extra time I would have preferred to do the Hop on Hop Off bus over 48hrs instead of 24hrs. Wish they would run longer during the day and have more buses. Can wait at stops for an hour which kills your day.

Very disappointing to stay in Sydney's Sans Sausi Guest House 29 The Promenade!
Staying in a very tiny room -maximum 2-3 square metres in size with no windows openable plus an empty but useless fridge put in the room.
Need to upload personal ID plus photo of holding ID as part of check-in procedures. Loads of requirements to ask guests to obey to stay. Right after check-out, scam calls come through -bit of concerned personal information security.
Shared bathroom and kitchen are clean.

I loved: Walking around the harbour, under and across the Harbour Bridge, great views from there; Chatting with a local on the bus (Hi Sheila!!); Lunch at Flour and Stone (Woolloomooloo cafe with great food and friendly service). Smooth tasting, hot coffee on the promenade at Caffe Gigi, Circular Quay - didn't have to ask for a glass of water, the waiter was on to it. Strand Arcade is a magnificent Victorian arcade, great for browsing. I didn't make it to the Art Gallery of NSW this time, but enjoyed it on previous trips.

Wonderful city with several options for seeing the town.
Wonderful city with several options for seeing the town. We took Uber and Train and both were great. So much to do - the Opera House tour was a favorite!!
We were disappointed in the Aquarium and Zoo. They were disorganized and not especially clean.
The Fullerton is located on George Street, one of Sydney’s main thoroughfares, with easy access to Circular Quay, the Rocks and other city attractions. This very modern, 5-star hotel sits behind a historic post office, making for a very attractive combination of the historic and the modern. Our room was a little small, but very comfortable and staff were responsive to requests for coffee and mugs. We were expecting a smaller, more intimate hotel but were very pleased with our experience.
This hotel is extremely well-located - close to the new light rail system and the train system (for the airport), shops, restaurants, the Royal Botanical Garden, the excellent art gallery, etc. - and just two light rail stops to Circular Quay (for the Opera House and the Rocks). It's a heritage hotel, and has so much more character than most modern hotels. We were also pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was, given its CBD location. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
value for money/the location was fantastic - perfect for those wanting to visit the cbd and the eastern suburbs / beaches. The executive room/s is worth every penny, not many hotels in the Sydney cbd or eastern suburbs with a balcony/terrace (and a sizeae one you get with the executive suite) views are lovely, it was quiet at night, comfortable and the room had an everything you needed and extra surprises. Written by an ex Sydney sider, I will definately be back.
The location is close to the airport which is very handy when you need to quickly get to or from the airport. Noise insulation in the rooms is excellent - one does not hear the aircraft landing or taking off, or any of the noise from the street. Short walk to the train station (5-6 minutes) makes trips to CBD or other locations around Sydney very easy. Additionally, there's a bus stop right in front of the hotel, adding to the ease of using public transport.
I had a wonderful experience at Hotel YEHS (Sydney CBD), and I'd like to commend Pratim and his colleague Jandro, at the reception for exceptional service. Pratim's assistance with an early check-in made my stay seamless and enjoyable. The hotel's overall ambiance, cleanliness, and the attentive staff contributed to a fantastic stay. I highly recommend Hotel YEHS for its excellent customer service and comfortable accommodations.

The hotel is right at the heart of Sydney CBD. Just walking distance from Kings Cross Station with lots of restaurants, supermarkets and many other shops in the area. Hotel staff are very friendly and the hotel is value for money. Room is a bit small but it has everything you need including a tv, mini fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Bed is very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sydney.
The staff is really friendly, helpful and accomodating. Specially Jone and Maria. They have best coffee on the lobby area and facilities are really good for laundry.
Rooms are spacious with proper utensils for light cooking.
It is very near to train station which can be used for the traveling to CBD area and even airport.
Lot of cafes around the area and Cole supermarket is right next to the hotel for buying groceries.
Easy to get to from both the airport terminals as well as the CBD. Very convenient for short business trips, and equally great for longer stays with the in-room kitchen and laundry facilities. This is far better value than central CBD area hotels if you're willing to make a 15 minute commute. Very large and comfortable rooms. Great restaurants and large supermarket in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.
Loved the location. No problem for us with noise from within the complex or surrounding venues over the weekend.
Comfortable apartment with everything you need.
Included breakfast was lovely.
Host friendly, easily contactable and very willing to help. Apologetic for mistakes.
Affordable accommodation option compared to hotels in the area.
We stayed here because CBD pricing was exuberant due to a city marathon the following morning so it was a bit of a mission returning to Olympic Park after a night in the city however this is no fault of the hotel but something to keep in mind for others. Staff were lovely. Parking convenient but pricey. Bed was comfortable.
Right in the middle of the CBD, a few minutes away from Circular Quay, Opera House, QVB, Darling Harbour. There are also tram and underground train stops nearby, including easy connection to the airport. Breakfast was good normal continental one. Staff was friendly. Room was comfortable and clean.
Hotel Challis is situated in the perfect spot between the Eastern suburbs hot spots and the domain and CBD. Easy to get there by train from the airport, the rest of the time we wandered around to Rushcutters Bay, ate at amazing restaurants in Potts Point or walked to the Domain and Circular Quay.
VERY CLOSE to the International airport.
Had a very early flight and this was well worth the money.
Be careful of other hotels that say airport, they are close to the domestic airport and are NOT close to the international airport.
Very convenient location in Sydney CBD, close to Barangaroo wharf, Darling Harbour, Circular Quay, Sydney Harbour Bridge, Pitt Street Mall. Many restaurants and shops nearby. Spacious apartment with ample kitchen to cook in.
The location was great and the room was very good. The check-in and checkout process was fast. There are 2 Novotel hotels nearby in Darling Harbour. This one is the smaller one compared to the other one.
Had a beautiful view! Loved the aesthetic of the hotel and the rooms. Very comfortable whilst still being luxurious. Lived up to our expectations. Room was also very spacious despite being in Sydney cbd
