Taxi driver, shuttle driver and Uber drivers were all great and proud to talk of their city.
Had lovely weather, early March, which made our trip.
We walked around the Rocks area. Lots going on and good vibe.

Loved visiting Sydney with my mum.
Loved visiting Sydney with my mum. We visited for leisure and did a side trip to Nowra to see family. The tourist destinations (Bridge, Opera House, Botanical Gardens, Bondi Beach) we’re all awesome. We enjoyed a helicopter flight over the harbour and Bondi. That was pre booked and was awesome. Also did a jet boat ride (so fun). We had a great time.

I was only at the airport and I found the facilities to be adequate for my needs as I was only in Sydney for one evening and stayed at a hotel close to the International terminal. I know that the city is a fabulous place to visit if you are there for more than a quick overnight stay.

Sydney is in a perpetual state of construction with poor footpaths and scaffolding over many buildings. Streets are narrow and the buildings are high so it is very noisy.
Public transport is poorly documented. You need to Opal app. Many buses are still diesel so very loud.
Chinatown has some good restaurants and pub food is fine.
If you are visiting Sydney, decide what you want to see and find somewhere to stay nearby.

We would stay again at the Parkroyal if we ever get a chance to visit Sydney again. We were there for three days before another trip which was to Hobart, Tasmania. We returned to Sydney and boarded a cruise ship. I loved the harbor with the Opera House, which is iconic. We ate at fast food places, which usually do when we travel to save money. The train system made it very easy to get where we need to go for our tours.

Although considered as a Heritage Hotel, the amenities and cleanliness are exceptional.
Manager, NATHAN and staffs was friendly and accomodating.
Location is centrally located to all shops and restaurants.
Walking distance to Strathfield Westfield mall.
Will highly recommend this heritage hotel.
Although, NO LIFTS, Staff are there to help with my luggage.
Truly Grateful!!
Easy location to reach, very clean, kitchenette has everything you need, staff are very helpful. Short walk to multiple coffee shops and cafes and there is a convenience store next door. Olympic Park area is great if you want to exercise, or go to the swimming pool. Room is quiet, although nearby construction noise on one side of the building does intrude if you open the balcony door. Balcony is small but pleasant with 2 chairs and a glass table. Room airconditioner worked well, and was not too aggressive like some other hotels.
Hotel is a nice combination of old and new decor, classy. Staff are friendly and attentive, always ready to help. In a good central location within CBD, lots of activities close by and quality restaurants in vicinity. Breakfast until 11am which I liked as I'm not a "morning" person (some hotels I've stayed in previously stopped breakfast at 9:30am forcing an early rise and rushed shower etc to make it in time to eat). I'm a wheelchair user, "easy access" room was spacious and well designed.
We were very happy with the accommodation at this hotel. Excellent choice for breakfast to set you up for the day. All the staff we came into contact with were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The porterage was brilliant - wish I had made a note of his name but he was on duty on Saturday 8th and Monday 10th April - saw to our luggage and arranged our taxi to the airport. This was the second time we have stayed here and if we ever go back to Sydney we would certainly return
This hotel is extremely well-located - close to the new light rail system and the train system (for the airport), shops, restaurants, the Royal Botanical Garden, the excellent art gallery, etc. - and just two light rail stops to Circular Quay (for the Opera House and the Rocks). It's a heritage hotel, and has so much more character than most modern hotels. We were also pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was, given its CBD location. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
I had a wonderful experience at Hotel YEHS (Sydney CBD), and I'd like to commend Pratim and his colleague Jandro, at the reception for exceptional service. Pratim's assistance with an early check-in made my stay seamless and enjoyable. The hotel's overall ambiance, cleanliness, and the attentive staff contributed to a fantastic stay. I highly recommend Hotel YEHS for its excellent customer service and comfortable accommodations.

I like the lovely, welcoming Federation-style decor, ensuite bathroom, private balcony overlooking the garden and microwave oven. Location is great, close to Northern Sydney CBD but really quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Also love the metal keys, which don't keep failing all the time like the "access" (Not!) digital cards used by hotel chains!
Very good value for money, especially compared to other northside hotels.
We couldn't find the damn place. The address you sent us was a private dwelling with no keypad access. You don't include your supposed 24/7 customer service number on your texts. We had hundreds of dollars of Christmas food going off in the sun and had to wander around Maroubra on a Friday afternoon trying to find a place to stay.
Demand a refund. Oh, and the contact number for the place did not work.
It is a budget hotel near the airport with a shuttle that can provide service to/from the airport for 10 AUD each way. The hotel room was comfortable, clean and quiet. I booked it since I was flying back out the next morning, and the proximity to the airport eliminated the stress I would have experienced had I gone all the way into downtown Sydney and then back out to the airport the next morning.
This hotel is very close to the Sydney Airport domestic terminal and so it nice and convenient for travellers. The room itself was very spacious with a large bed, good desk fro working and fridge/microwave in the room. I stayed for six nights and could easily have stayed for longer. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in Sydney for business or need a short stop over.
The room size & facilities were great. Bed comfort was good.
At level 5, the traffic noise on Elizabeth Street, was still loud.
Location & price of hotel was excellent for what I had planned to do & see while in Sydney.
Access to Museum Station for commute from/to airport was excellent.
Location to food facilities of all types was great.
The location of this hotel is very good to explore Sydney and also very convenient to get from and to the airport. The rooms are not big in size but super modern and very well equipped. The staff is friendly and helpful, I enjoyed my stay there very much and was very happy with this choice.
I did not like the property. Location far from St. Peter’s station. I thought I booked hotel close to airport. No way. Should have stayed downtown Sydney near central station. The staff did go out of their way to get me a taxi to airport. Thank you for that.
I like the location to either domestic or international airport
The breakfast was great
the shower was the best I ever been in any hotels
The workers at the check in a so nice and very helpful
and also the staff in the cafeteria
Very convenient location in Sydney CBD, close to Barangaroo wharf, Darling Harbour, Circular Quay, Sydney Harbour Bridge, Pitt Street Mall. Many restaurants and shops nearby. Spacious apartment with ample kitchen to cook in.
Most reviewers here like the fact this place is close to Central. While it is true, it is also true that nearly all Sydney hotels are located within CBD and fringe suburbs, so it is hardly a selling point.
Room was small but well appointed. Bed was very comfortable & the overall hotel is very quiet. The location is really convenient & very quiet compared to most CBD hotels.
the team from booking to checking out were above our expectations with the best customer service experience I have had compared to 5 star hotels in Sydney CBD
