Buenos Aires, the dynamic capital of Argentina, enchants visitors with its blend of European elegance and Latin American flair. The city's picturesque landscapes, including iconic landmarks like Caminito street and Recoleta Cemetery, serve as a stunning backdrop for exploration. Culinary enthusiasts rejoice in the diverse gastronomic scene, offering everything from succulent steaks to flavorful empanadas, with options for healthier dining also available. However, the city's allure comes at a cost, as living expenses and shopping can be pricey compared to Brazilian standards. Nevertheless, Buenos Aires offers enriching excursions such as trips to Tigre Delta and Colonia del Sacramento, along with vibrant experiences like the San Telmo market and leisurely rides on tourist buses. In summary, Buenos Aires captivates with its beauty, culinary delights, and diverse attractions, ensuring an unforgettable journey for travelers seeking a taste of Argentine culture.

I live in La Plata so I come to Buenos Aires regularly for work and leisure, usually for a day but this time I came with a family member visting, we had two whole days in BA and found plenty to do.
It is fairly simple to get around Buenos Aires provided you can buy a Sube and know how to laod it with cash. This can be used on the Subte (subway), trains and buses with minimal fuss.

Buenos Aires it is a spectacular city to visit.
Buenos Aires it is a spectacular city to visit. You should be careful at night, but it is pretty safe depending on where you stay. There are plenty of restaurants and shows and people is very helpful and attentive. To shop is great but now a bit expensive, try to ask on different places before buying. Anyway, a great place to visit, very nice. Florida Garden a very good restaurant and not expensive, (Ariel at the terrace was wonderful) its situated in "Florida" Street at downtown Buenos Aires (they call it "microcentro"), Puerto Madero is amazing, "Cabana Las Lilas" is an excellent restaurant, good value for the price.

Although there are not many outstanding tourist attractions,...
Although there are not many outstanding tourist attractions, Buenos Aires is an enjoyable city in itself. Especially in the San Telmo area, just being here on the weekends is a pleasure. In the end, I stayed here for 5 nights.
Our first time in Buenos Aires and South America. The booking at Melia Recoleta Plaza Hotel was my surprise prepared for my well-travelled husband, and I obviously wanted to impress him. The hotel has exceeded our expectations with the boutique feel, old world elegance, and absolutely charming location. The concierge service was exceptional: they took care of the transportation, access to the entraining venue and Michelin stared restaurant.
There are two things in Mine Hotel that are superior: location and service. Situated at the heart of Palermo Soho nearby all the best restaurants and bars. The front desk is always manned by two or three exceptionally helpful staff who can answer and arrange every single request or need you may have. "We have a list for everything" was their slogan often used. Breakfast was also fresh and versatile. You can order practically everything.
The Hostel is located in a residential area and has easy access to any district and sights nearby, especially to Recoleta and Palermo. staying in this hostel makes you definitely feel rather living in BsAs instead of just being a tourist. The common area is very comfortable as well as the balcony and the rooftop. This hostel is not a party hostel and has a more relaxed vibe. Nevertheless, i didn’t seem to very social either.
it was such a good experience at Claridge hotel. Based on past reviews, I was a little bit concerned about the hotel, but my stay there was amazing. I’ve been for 7 days and everything worked perfectly . The bed and the shower was incredible.
Of course that is not a 5 stars hotels, but It still very good one. it’s a old hotel, but still beautiful and charming.
The staff is so kind and helpful.
Yamila was very helpful in our stay. Since we arrived at the airport, he guided us through WhatsApp and gave us many local tips for being in Palermo.
As for accommodation, it was undoubtedly the best choice. The kitchen had modern appliances and the perfect equipment for cooking. The room was comfortable as was the bathroom and the entire apartment in general is bright.
The staff was amazing and hospitable. We were upgraded to a premium room, which was was beautiful, comfortable, clean, and spacious. the buffet breakfast had a large selection and food was delicious. Recoleta cemetery is a short 5-10 minute walk from the hotel. There are corner stores and restaurants within walking distance as well.
Breakfast at lower floor of hotel, simple spread but sufficient
Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is great, just minutes from San Telmo market and DOrrega square.
Historic part of town, walkable to Plaza, although a little further from Palermo, Recoleta, but overall, I think the hotel is a small but cozy place.
Great location in Recoleta with a 3 restaurants in front of it, 1 mini market, starbucks, and a pharmacy. You will need to take uber/transportation to go to Caminito, Puerto Madero, and Palermo but it’s very very cheap. We also loved that the elevator is the older style where you have to close both doors.
it was a short stay but this hotel offers everything you need to enjoy the best area of Buenos Aires. and if you do t feel like going out. the rooftop offers a bird view that you can only find in a postcard.
the staff is one of the friendliest I found in my over 30 years of visiting Argentina
SuMa Recoleta was our Buenos Aires “home base” as we traveled to multiple countries over four weeks in January. Reception staff are amazing and go out of their way to make sure you have what you need. Rooms are simple, comfortable, and clean. Very well located for tourism and travel.
Breakfast is fine. The location is perfect if you want to stay in Palermo, right in the middle of the neighborhood. The rooms have great beds. It was one my best nights during my 17-day trip in Argentina, though it's not super quiet, since the rooms face the street.
My first time in Buenos Aires and I could not be happier with my stay! The apartment was in a great location in Recoleta within walking distance of many great restaurants, shops, and things to do. A special shot-out to Ral for making my stay so great!
It's located in La Recoleta, one of Buenos Aires's best neighborhoods, within walking distance from many of the city's landmarks, beautiful and safe. The location is great, most of the staff are super friendly and breakfast was superb.
Location is the best thing about this property - close to the AEP airport and in the heart of Palermo where you can enjoy the nightlife.
We were able to leave our luggage at the property until our evening flight at no extra charge.
It´s more of a Apartments building with 24/7 reception services, with very friendly staff and perfect location - heart of Palermo with easy access to all great things Buenos Aires has to offer.
Best hotel in Buenos aires. Great place, great cleaningness standards. Very different and very superior to most hotels in BA. Notable superior to any hotel in the area.
This is hands down the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in and we’ve been everywhere in the world. The service of ALL the staff and especially Tomas was above 5 star.
This is a great boutique hotel rightin the heart of Palermo. Its about 1 to 1.5kms from the best places to eat and shop and the price was very reasonable.
