Theresa was very friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. She greeted us with a warm welcome. The breakfast was wonderful with a beautiful view from the back. Never goes wrong to stay in this place and we definitely will stay here again next time we are in Galway.

The house is fab and it's just walking distance from Salt Hill. The lady and her daughter were really nice. It was lovely chatting to them. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety. We were thrilled with the location. I would definitely book here again.

We were upgraded to a larger room without asking. There was a common shared kitchen which had everything you needed if you wished to cook. We met the owner Norman while having breakfast and had a great chat. We would definitely stay there again.

The best thing about Winnie’s Lodge was the location in Salthill. If you have never been to Galway, Salthill is my recommendation. It is away from the main part of Galway and very quiet. It also has many pubs and restaurants within walking distance of Winnie’s. The property was very clean which was a plus and offered a washer/dryer which we took advantage of.
