You can use Silleda to explore the area around. The Ponte Taboada is close or the Fervenza do Toxa is a 15 minutes drive from Silleda. It has lots of nature and trails where you can hike or walk. We did not like the city centre itself, there's this pigsty smell everywhere.

Because we were pilgrims on our Camino they went the extra way and left breakfast ready for us in the restaurant so we could go there at 6 am and have breakfast just the two of us.
