From the moment we walked in from The Camino we were treated well. The front desk staff is helpful and efficient, the room was immaculate, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was very large. The location was perfect to walk to restaurants, bars and shops. The setting, attached to a historic convent, was beautiful.

The property is new and fantastic. We could not ask for more. Our bed was super comfortable and we slept well. The room was climate controlled and the controls worked. The staff (owners) were wonderfully helpful and kind. The best.

This is the best stay I had on the Camino. The place is clean and quiet, the hosts are SO nice. If you want to be treated with love BECAUSE you’re a pilgrim, this is the place to stay. Also the food is incredible. Must do for both dinner and breakfast, the food is the best in town and about the same price as all the other places. They have a great menu del dia with local Rioja specialities. The hosts don’t speak English but they use Google translate fluently and you can feel their positive energy flow to you even if you’re confused! :)

Adorable, clean, comfortable. Very quiet at night with a fan and a window to keep the air moving. Loved being able to make our own coffee before our pre-dawn start on the camino. A washing machine and drying rack were awesome. Checkin very easy and a sello was available for us walkers

Missing hot water and lack of support from the site. Recieved our money with one week delay. At the begining the host did not wanted to bring back the money but thanks to the booking.com team we resolved the problem. Would like to forget bad memories. Never go to this place!

The cathedral is fascinating.
The cathedral is fascinating. We visited three times, on each occasion finding something new. I doubt there are many churches in the world that contain a chicken house - the two living birds are there to recall a local miracle in which a hanged youth and two roast chickens were brought back to life.

There was a lovely bar around the corner from the hotel that a lot of locals frequented, which was lovely and had a good atmosphere, one of the few places we felt comfortable. You have to definitely see the chicken in the cathedral!
You have to definitely see the chicken in the cathedral! It is really impressive, with all the chapels, and its worth seeing. Friendly locals, beautiful architecture. Vegans can survive there. They have supermarket called "Eroski", which takes some searching, but you can still find the couscous, fruits and veggies.

The sympathetic adaptation of this historic building, retaining its character without ruining its charm, was a very satisfying experience. One to be recommended. Having a garage to park and being able to charge was another big tick in the satisfaction box. Other Hotels please note, this is becoming an important draw.
