Our room was so cute and cozy and beds were really comfortable. We had a view of the village which I really enjoyed. I also really appreciated that they had extra fuzzy blankets available! Was a very enjoyable spot on our Camino.

O Pedrouzo was an easy place to stop along the Camino, with a lot of accommodations and restaurants. While the Camino does not run through the town, it is barely a 5 minute walk to enter the parts of town with accommodations.

This was our last stop prior to arriving in Santiago. O Pino, delivered, a good few places where to eat and have a drink, buy some gifts, and the locals were very nice. Perhaps I saw it at its worst, a public holiday. It felt like a ghost town. Can’t recall name of restaurant I ate in but it was on the Main Street, had two rooms with long tables in the middle of each room, so as a solo diner I felt fine. She saw that we were tired and didn’t want to walk anywhere to get dinner, so she contacted a local restaurant and arranged to collect a meal for us. She bought it back to the hotel and set us up on a little table. It was delicious and very much appreciated. She also did our laundry, washed & dried and delivered back to our room within a few hours.

They ordered food in for us in the evening and made a fabulous breakfast the following morning. The accommodation is in Amenal, about 4km from O Pedrouzo. The hotel is named 9 de abril because of his son birthday and all of the rooms are named by their family’s birthdays. Wifi worked perfectly. Hot water and extremely comfortable beds. Can’t recomend this place enough.
