Initial thought walking to the location…far from Camino. After a peaceful nights sleep and the wonderful kindness from Bego…totally worth it! The location felt like a retreat home, very quiet, fresh mountain air, super clean and comfortable allowing a wonderful sleep.

This is the best kept secret on the Camino Portuguese coastal route! This place is an actual spa, just a few kilometers off of the Camino!!! It was an amazing place. It has an amazing indoor pool that is filled with sea water from the coast. The pool is heated and has about 10 different stations with amazing jets of water that focus on a different part of the body. This felt soooopo good on my Camino sore muscles. The food in the restaurant was also spectacular. It's a good idea to reserve time in the pool and the restaurant before you arrive. Both highly recommended. I left this place completely rejuvenated and ready to tackle the rest of my Camino.

The proprietor was very accommodating. Although there was no hot water to start, he was working diligently to get it fixed, and he did. He prepared us a picnic lunch as we were leaving before breakfast would be served.

Decent location, but go to old town and get a room in there. I liked the staff, she was nice. The room was clean enough. It was also fairly easy to find.
