Lovely city. Spent 3 days but 2 would have been plenty however we needed to stop moving for a few days after travelling for 3 weeks.
Lots to see and walk to.
Great bars and restaurants and if you like blood pudding sausage then it’s everywhere. I just had to escape it.
Must bars charge a couple of euros for a glass of wine plus you receive a tapa. Mostly it’s cured meats and bread. Sometimes it’s the morcilla or if you’re lucky, another taps could be hard cheese with bread or potato wedges.

It was only a short visit arriving late afternoon and leaving just after 10am the next day. However we enjoyed our evening walk.
We stayed in the same hotel in 2022 and had more time to look around.
- The Catedral de León is a must visit
- The Museo Casa Botines Gaudí has a beautiful facade but we didn't have the opportunity to visit the museum
We also enjoyed having a coffee and croissant breakfast at the Café Bar La Dama next door to the FC Infantas de León we were staying in.

First time in León and really enjoyed the atmosphere.
First time in León and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Drinks and tapas, shopping, exploring ancient Churches and other sites, processions of Semana Santa. Lots of choices of what you may want to do. Definitely want to explore some more, so will make a return trip at some point.

Beautiful city full of history and good eating places.
Beautiful city full of history and good eating places. Specialty of the region was roast suckling pig and lamb. It has an outstanding cathedral, larger than I expected and most beautiful.
The apartment was ample and comfortable, even though it had no air conditioning. It wasn't needed for this time of the year.

León is a great city to visit, with lots of history, numerous tourist attractions and wonderful museums. It's easy to walk around, clean and neat. The Cathedral, Museo / Basilica de San Isidoro (where the Holy Grail is located), Convento de San Marco and Museo de Castille Y León (free admission) are not to be missed. I found the food relatively cheap compared to other cities. Lunch at Ezequiel was a great experience, though it may be a little difficult to get a table at peak hours. Enjoy!
Leon is a city that I loved entirely, especially because it is very convenient to visit for a night or two and relax here in this hotel before continuing to travel or after having traveled in other places.
You must book an appointment for the use of the Spa beforehand.
The room was beautiful, it has everything you need and a little more. I would definitely come back to Leon to stay here again! The staff is very attentive and friendly. The restaurant is excellent and very comfortable. The best experience in this region of Spain.
I’m hiking the Camino and was just looking for a quiet warm place to stay. This hotel was both and the location right next to the cathedral was wonderful. I had access to a lot of great tapas bars and a little grocery to fill my pack for walking. The heating doubles as drying racks which was helpful as some of cloths were wet from walking.
Historic building in the old town (follow the hotel’s driving instructions!). You are stepping back in time when you enter the grounds. A great location for exploring that part of the city. The cloister is lovely. Our room was comfortable and very clean. Free parking was a plus (and seems unusual in most of Spain).
This is a beautiful hotel - the rooms are large and the bathrooms and showers are great. The location could not be better, close to all the action but on a quiet side street of old town Leon. Everyone was very friendly. I left too early to take advantage of the breakfast but it looked good from afar.
The Silken Luis de Leon was fine for our 1 night stopover. The hotel is getting a bit dated, but was clean and tidy. It's not too far from the cathedral and the dining options. We were on the 3rd floor and it was a bit noisy - not sure if it was the wind, or external aircon units.
Everything!! Amazing hotel, room, restaurant, rooftop, view to Leon's cathedral...really everything!! The room was beautiful, spacious, comfortable, it seemed to stay in a mountain refuge..I had an amazing stay and would highly recommend it!
Booked this coming thru León on the Camino. Perfect location ! Right near the Cathedral and plaza mayor. Super cute - clean - beds comfortable. Washing machine . Lovely little baked goods in the morning . Perfect stay.
Very nice hotel and room set around cloisters of one of Spain's finest ecclesiastical monuments. Room still quite new, clean, comfortable with good wifi. Centrally located, with bars/shops/etc nearby.
This is an inexpensive hotel in a wonderful location in Leon. The hotel exudes history and charm. So far, so good. However, I must say that my room was really depressing and I would not return.
one of the best places we have stayed in.
it was an amazing hotel right in the centre of Leon. hotel was beautiful and the people who work there were the best. I am deck barely going back.
Although it is beside a main street in the outskirt of Leon, it is very easy to parking, with plenty of spaces. The restaurant in the hotel is good. Room is clean and comfortable.
Beautiful place, best location in the whole of León with amazing views, great host Juan, clean and comfortable. it's more of a 5-star hotel than a hostel:)
