Cudillero was very pleasant and great views from the top overlooking the town especially at night
Best local beach is playa de Aguilar, beautiful.
We stayed in el pito which was peaceful and very pleasant place about 30 mins walk outside Cudillero
Only one bar/restaurant there but but very good traditional local, very enjoyable.

We loved Cudillero.
We loved Cudillero. We only had 3 nights but that was not enough. We could easily have stayed for a week as there was so much to do. We explored the village by foot, we ate in many of the wonderful seafood restaurants (Recommend El Remo and Isabel), we bought groceries and shopped and we drove to several nearby Sandy beaches. We went for a drive to the valley of the bears which was very picturesque. However there are also many lovely cities close by that we ran out of time to visit like Oviedo. There was also a rail trail in the Valley of the bears that we would like to come back and do as it looked like a stunning ride.

54 steps from street level to 2nd floor room.
54 steps from street level to 2nd floor room. I am 84 and my wife is 76; she has a mobility problem. No mention was made of the steep climb. I should have asked, maybe, but we do not normally have problems with a reasonable number of stairs.
Car parking. A public park 12 minutes walk away is unacceptable.
The bathroom was very small.
The curtains were could not beheld back because of the 45° slope. So the windows couldn’t be opened. It was over 30° when were there. The curtains had to be close at night as there was a huge public street lamp right outside the bedroom. It was on all night. There was also a public path right outside the bedroom.

Cudillero is a delightful little town with a gorgeous fishing harbor, tourists on summer weekends, a couple of pleasant walks (one with an amazing view of the harbor and the ocean), a few restaurants, and a very pretty 2-star hotel named La Casona de Pio. We enjoyed fresh fish at the Casa de Julio. We also had an excellent lunch at El Cafe del Faro, right next to our hotel.

I was there for 2 days. Way too long. Half a day would do it.
Food is very expensive in the restaurants. The idea being that seafood direct from the Cantabrian sea is expensive, but I'd have thought the lack of transport costs would make it cheaper than in Madrid, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

A lovely little fishing port.
A lovely little fishing port. Plenty of restaurants serving local food, which were still open in October when we went.
Lovely for a walking holiday (as long as you have strong legs as it's all steep hills!).
This is a wonderful apartment in a quiet area just before central cudillero. Lidia was the best host and made check in very easy for us; she was also easy to contact with any questions that we may have had. The apartment is spacious and beautifully decorated with the fantastic addition of a large private terrace area. Close to beautiful beaches and a short (although hilly) walk down to the centre of town. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone planning to stay in the area.
This quaint boutique hotel oozes charm and character. Although old, the rooms have been nicely updated and were comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and the property has several sitting areas to enjoy reading, chatting or getting to know other guests. The staff was especially helpful and friendly, especially Rachel. The town itself is also a treasure. We enjoyed just wandering around and taking the steps up and down to different levels of the town.
Very private suite in a bungalow.
Good parking inside the courtyard.
Very quiet neighborhood.
Excellent shower.
Vicinity to the outstanding Palacio la Quinta de Selgas, a must visit!
Not sure about location vs cudillero, if you could find any closer to the port of cudillero. By foot is 2km, entering cudillero from the mountain. By car you go on a longer round route entering cudillero from the seaside, 9km.
What a hidden gem! This is one of the nicest properties we’ve ever stayed at, and probably the least expensive. Huge room, very comfortable bed, great shower. Breakfast for 10€ was excellent. Wonderful and helpful staff. A few miles down the road is the very picturesque village of Cudillero. Fun place to visit. We can’t wait to return.
Unbeatable location in Cudillero with an increadible view of the town.
Very beautiful apartment that keeps its own traditional character and brings you the athmosphere of the fishermen town with a very good taste.
The host cannot be more helpful and gives really good local tips for sight seeing and restaurants in the area.
We enjoyed everything! The people at the counter were very friendly, the breakfast was the best we've had: all natural! The room itself is very spacious and the building is an old authentic Asturian house which is very cool.
It's an easy walk to Cudillero (20min aprox).
Definitely recommend this place!
The property is beautiful with fruit trees and flowers everywhere and was a nice break from staying in hotels. It is a short drive to the beach in one direction, and to Cudillero in another. The hosts were quite friendly and each of the three rooms is comfortable.
"Rooms" are unusual in being small blocks of rooms separate from the main building. However, contained everything needed (note - no catering at this hotel) but 100M from a very accetable restaurant serving great tapas and about 800M from 2 other choices.
Great room. Comfy bed. Very quiet at night. Best of all was the staff. They are so friendly and accomodating. Breakfast was amazing and the lady serviing it was just the sweetest. I highly recommend this small hotel/restaurant.
Great little boutique hotel in a very pretty fishing village. The staff were really helpful with recommendations but a special thanks to Paula in particular who was so friendly and engaged and ensured our stay was wonderful.
Beautiful location, quiet and relaxing. Friendly hostess. We went on some hikes and got a lot of rest. It rained, as it usually happens in Asturias, and the house felt very cozy.
Lovely gardens and nice location. Staff were really lovely and helpful. Parking on premises and a 20 minute walk into Cudillero. Breakfast was nice and parking was very good.
Great hotel just out of town, up the hill from the port area. Lovely rooms, garden and the staff are very friendly. We really enjoyed staying here and recommend it highly.
We liked the location, with a stiff walk down into town. The room was comfortable and clean. Staff were pleasant and the parking was free on hotel grounds.
