The property was centrally located and was very modern. I received real sheets! And it was thoughtfully laid out - providing privacy even in a dorm. The bathrooms were nice and plentiful, and there was even a hair drier.
There was also a small store in the hostal which was amazing—especially when arriving in a Sunday when the supermarkets are closed. There are vending machines for snacks, pharmacy items, and coffee - the latter is perfect if you are leaving early in the morning.
The owner/manager was a delight and sought to make every aspect of the visit wonderful. He cooked me a gluten free meal and shared delicious tea with me.
The best part was the owner/manager

Great place, great staff and restaurant. Room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Staff was accommodating and attached restraunt food was awesome. Saturday night partying in town was loud, but we slept like babies. Highly recommend.

Located at the entrance of town. Greeted by staff with a cold drink. Nice pool and well maintained outdoor areas. Bar and restaurant on site. We were in a four bed room, which was great.

This a little oasis away from the Camino hostels. Just beautiful and calm and literally two minutes away from the Camino. Such a wonderful day spent with the owner Fernando where he spoiled us silly and made the most exquisite dinner for us.
This charming, rustic property is over 100 years old and offers bright, cozy rooms. La Aldea Encantada has a peaceful setting in the Riojilla Burgalesa region and features a restaurant.

There is not much to do there, but walk around and see the historic buildings. There is a summer church and a winter church obviously.
If you need any help, there is an info center, and people seem really helpful.
Also the locals help without being prompted.
You can use a bank card for payment in the grocery store.
It is located about 10 minutes walking outside of town right on the Camino and it has a beautiful garden and terrace to hang and relax (and a pool). The setting is very nice - you can hear the road but not terrible). We had a double room (it is hostal and hotel) and it was basic but clean and comfortable. Good selection of food in their restaurant and overall a nice place to stop while on the Camino.
Excelente food, very clean, good service, and they don’t offer breakfast, but they sell €4 breakfast/lunch bags with good food that one can surely use because the towns 12 km from Belorado don’t sell anything. We were glad we got that there. Drink coffee in Belorado before leaving or be ready to do it 12 km after that.
This place is a small, very clean hotel, and a pleasant place to stay along the Camino. Our room was quiet even though we could hear other guests in the hallway. The proprietor was helpful and told us where we could get both an early pilgrim's dinner and an early breakfast.
One of the best albergues on the Camino. Great beds with mattresses and sheets, fantastic choice of food, great beer and of course the pool. There’s another albergue in the centre of Belorado with a pool that’s advertised a lot, but it’s THIS one that you should stay at!
It is located in a very beautiful area just before entering Belorado. The staff was wonderful, especially the young man who served me breakfast. The swimming pool was popular with the younger pilgrims. Lots of hot water and the water pressure was really good.
Private Room was lovely, bed really comfy, really clean, big outdoor area and lots of airers to dry clothes, the restaurant attached to hotel even made dinner early which was great and practically unheard of in northern Spain!! Thank you for that!!
We loved the easy check in process and the comfortable and easy style of the owner. The trim throughout was quality beautiful heavy wood. The beds were comfy and the sleep was deep. The hotel has a cute bar and pinchos too
I don’t know who owns this hotel and whether it’s part of a chain or franchise but the place is superb, the staff really friendly, attentive and good. The layout and location is spot on and I’ve run out of nice things to say.
The hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower was strong and they had a great little bar with snacks and breakfast in the morning. They also had air conditioning, which was nice for sleeping.
Holy week was in full swing so Belorado was packed. The location was perfect for the Easter Procession and celebrations. The owner cooked us an amazing meal and was very accomodating
Simple, clean room with private bathroom. 500m from Belorado. Directly on Camino route. Nice restaurant, outdoor terrace and small pool. Would stay again
Near the Camino route on the way out from Belorado. It is very clean, spacious, a historical building, and Fernando, the host and owner is just wonderful.
This was a wonderful stay. Everything was better than our expectations. Our bathroom was hotel standard. We even enjoyed the swimming pool - a real bonus!
