Decent, simple hotel with an ok breakfast. House seems to have boasted a grand restaurant at some point in the past but that appears to be closed now. Also seems the hotel has seen its best years, furniture and fittings are a little dated but everything still works flawlessly. Friendly, helpful staff.

We were very well welcomed. Check in and check out is very easy, practical. Location is quite nice, has parking place, restaurant. Beds are very comfortable. We loved it there and booked an extra night. I loved this flexibility. Totally recommend the place.

We visited nearby Hohenpeißenberg and drove to the monastery at the top. Great views and lovely cafe restaurant. The local hiking/cycling tracks are worth checking out. They are extensive and cater for a range of abilities.

Our room was on the ground floor which we appreciated after a day of biking. It opened up onto a courtyard which brought in a lot of light and was very quiet considering it was surrounded by buildings. The room was basic but clean. The bed was comfortably firm. Given the very reasonable price, we were impressed with the quality and quantity of the breakfast, which to us make the hotel an excellent value. From waiting for us to arrive to assist with our 86 year old mother until extending our parking via the parking pay station when we were delayed in our exit — this hotel took care of everything we needed. The upgrades to the bathroom are spectacular— one of the best showers we had during our stay in Bavaria visiting family!

It’s an easy walk to the wall that goes around the town. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Typical of a small hotel. There was something for everyone, good breads, eggs, yogurt, cereal, etc. Plenty of variety. Parking in front usually available.

The apartment and ammenities were top notch and the host was very accomodating with my requests and questions. Great location with short travel time to all the attractions near the Alps.
